Has anyone bought/used aftermarket LCA's?

Must have hit a rock or something awhile ago. My driver side LCA front bushing popped out of it's hole and the metal collar is oblong.

I bought new LCA's, left and right after deciding not to reuse the arm. The aftermarket ones have riveted steering stops where the factory arm has thick solid steel welded on.

Has anyone bought these aftermarket LCA's and used them? How are they working? See pics.

Those stops do look pretty cheezy. But anybody with a cut-off wheel and mig welder could replant the old ones for you.
On second thought, I think those rivets parts are some sort of "improved" sliders.

i believe that metal strip is an anti-squeal/shriek piece, and the steering stop tab is under it, and solid like the original.

It is a bit shabby...

I give a few weeks of tight turning before the stops anti squeal strip tears in the middle somewhere. I guess i'll see what the metal is like underneath. These are made in China.

I broke down and bought new KYB Gas-adjust shocks, new springs for the rear (they are sagging), SDTrucksprings.com and new torsion bars swayaway.com. I plan on adding a winch/bumper and these will help hold the weight.

in 1995, overseas Toyota trucks used the IFS similar to ours when US trucks got the new coil over. I wonder if the control arms I got are for those trucks.

The sway-a-way T bars will definitely give you a stiffer ride. I just replaced them on my 4runner with stock T-bars and ball joint lift kit. I swear those could hold up a chevy v8 in there, but i didn't have a winch(or v8). I would still advise doing the ball joint lift over cranking the T-bars.
