Front CV question and leaky front diff

Hi, i Have a 92 4runner v6 4WD with 217k on the clock. the 4runner's got 2" spacer lift and riding on 33's.

I have a bad boot on the passenger side CV joint have been running it like that for several months. this weekend i started to hear some strange sounds right in that general direction. It didn't sound like clicking noises (what i used to hear in bad CVs) but it was more like a small drum! the noise would happen not when i turn or accelerate but it would come and go at cruising speed. my first question is, has anyone else experienced this? I just want to be 100% sure it's the CV and not something else.

I also noticed a slight leak from the passenger front diff. the leak is between the CV and the front diff. i know it's a seal, but can someone please point me to a part number? here is front assembly: http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/1993/susp...15componen.pdf

i noticed there are two oil seals, should i be getting both? what are their part numbers? i can't seem to see it on this PDF.

thanks again!
