I just completed replacing front bearings and my left hub came apart when it was out. Put it all back together & works fine but the left axle will not unlock unless I turn the wheel backwards (even slightly). Right side axle unlocks without having to turn it backwards. I did put the hub back together correctly (I think?) and rotates smoothly when turning between free & lock. Is this normal if that axle is the one the diff is trying to turn? Or did I do something wrong reassembling the hub springs/collar/clutch? Thanks

 

something is incorrect. the wheels don’t need to rotate to engage or disengage the hubs.
