Frames

Hi, I've got a 1987 Toyota Pickup single cab, and I was wondering what the differences are between the single cab and the Xtracab in terms of the frame. I've been considering swapping the cab out with an Xtracab for a little while but I'm not sure if it'll just bolt right on to my frame or not. Let me know! I'd appreciate it a lot!

the FSM has detailed measurements of both frame dimensions in the body section.
I did a very quick comparison and the differences I saw was the body mount brackets for the back of the cab currently sit a bit forward of a center cross member. In the extra cab those brackets are pushed back to behind that cross member. That, of course, means the brackets for the front of the bed are pushed back. I assume you currently have a long bed, and are planning on swapping to a regular bed?
