electrical issues

so before this problem started i just upgraded my alternator to a cs144. i got all the new upgraded wires put in and now when i turn on the ignition nothing powers on. The only things that work are the headlights and the horn. i replaced the 80 amp fusible link, and i've checked all the grounds and fuses and so far i can't figure it out. if anyone has any ideas please help. I'm completely stumped on this issue.

So the only thing you've done is replace the alternator, nothing else?

& to get it straight; it was running fine before that?

What exactly do you mean by "new upgraded wires" ? which wires?

i did the big 3 wire upgrade.
it ran mostly fine i swapped out the starter at the same time because the old one had a bad solenoid.

What ground locations did you use for the big 3 conversion? Did you leave the original wires in place or remove them? Inline fuse for the alternator to battery positive or go through the fuse box?

Did the vehicle start at all after these upgrades (say...ran well for a couple days) or is all this immediately since and hasn't ran at all after the alternator, starter and wiring were installed?
