Couple Quick Questions: 1992 Toyota 4 Runner w/ 360K

I have had my 1992 Toyota 4 Runner for a couple years now. Got it with 360k on the odo, and I am within a couple k of breaking the 400k mark. PO said original engine + tranny but I cannot verify that. It has been a great ride, and a capable 4x4. Here is a pic of the day it came home, running on a bit bigger tire now.

A little bit of info on the rig. It has the 3.0 v6, a 5-speed. Runs great with a little tap noise but nothing major. I am running a cheap Peagus advanta 31x10.50 on what I assume is the stock suspension. Has a definite oil leak (about a quart a month) but doesn't burn any oil noticeably. Runs like a top, best running vehicle I have owned.

Recently I had my rear passenger side window broken in (the little one) and I am not sure the best way to fix it. Thought about going to a pick n pull, but would like to get the broken one out first any ideas?

Also the driver side front linkage (??) pops under full wheel lock steering when going over bumps, what can cause this?

Thanks for any help!

Does the sound at full lock sound like a creak/pop? Could just be the steering stops need to be greased, they are known for that horrible sound.

In yellow here.

Nice looking runner. I love seeing high mileage Toyotas, especially with the 3.0!

Pops at full lock over bumps are definitely caused by the steering stops. Mine does the same thing if I don't grease (all four) of them. Not sure about the window though.

Thanks for the tips guys.

I can not believe the way this thing runs! Gearing up for a 1000 mile (round trip) drive to California to see family so I wanted to take care of some things before I left.
