Chev swap into 4runner

Since i couldnt figure out the issue with the wireing of my 4runner, i decided to look into swaping in a chevy motor. I have two laying around a 94 4.3 And a 98 305 with 5 speed tranny. Im looking at swapping the entire drivetrain. Motor tranny and tcase so theres no need for adaptors. Its going to me a body off build to simplify making crossmembers and the sas.
If anybody can chime in and give me an idea of how to wire the new motor in and witch spedo to use/ computer etc. and any troubles people have ran into before it would be great.

Just a thought, you couldn't find the wiring issue with you're original equiptment, is it really a great idea to jump into a swap that's going to involve a bunch of wiring?
