Question Change AC belt - Pulley Bolt broke - HELP

Good afternoon -

I am changing my AC, P/S & Alt belts - everything was going well untill the bolt to loose the Pulley for the AC belt snapped off (Behind the pulley)

Any idea what I can do now to get that long bolt out - It still has an inch of bolt on either side...

If you can grip it with vise grips, just unscrew it. If not, you can drill it and use an ez-out. Drill a small hole down the center of the bolt. The ez out is reverse threaded so when you screw it into the hole, it'll tighten counter clockwise. As it gets tight, it'll begin to unscrew the broken bolt.

The bolt that holds the pulley on, or the one behind the pulley for the adjuster?

This happens all the time when ppl don't realize the the bolt that holds the pulley on also locks it so it can't move.

You HAVE TO loosen the pulley bolt 1st, then loosen it by the adjuster.

Yeah, but if it broke the bolt, it'll turn out with an easy out?

It was the adjuster bolt behind the pulley...It snapped off right at the bracket. The front bolt on the pulley was removed at the time as well -

Can you just hammer the part the bearing rode on, through the slot?
