brake pedal

whenever i go over a large bump or if i go wheeling and i go over something kinda fast my brake pedal rattles a lot and i dont have brakes for a few seconds. help?

Does your master cylinder have fluid in it?

Mine has done that, but it will only do it when/right after going through a huge mud puddles, only lasts for a second
