Hey guys, new here, I am originally a samurai guy so please don't flame me. I am swapping a trail gear rock assault ifs width axle in my samurai and got some 1993 4 runner backing plates and drums for it. I have been doing a ton of research on what backspacing to get to keep the total width outside of tire to outside of tire at 73" max so that I can tow my samurai. I have 33/12.5/15 tires already. and am thinking about going with the raceline wheels from lowrange in 15x8 with a 3.75' backspace. with my calculations I should be at 72"
what outside width are you guys usually at with 33/12.5?
Will the 15s fit over the massive backing plates? I ask because the backing plate is HUGE, I measured at 14".
I know that they came factory with 15's but id hate to get them shipped to me and not fit because of the lip on the wheel.

3.75 feet is a lot of backspacing
i am running 15" on my 94, no issues with clearance
with 35x12.50's I am at 73" white
