Hey everyone. I've been getting clogged fuel injectors. I went in and cleaned them out twice now, and just changed the fuel pump. When I did, I noticed the inside of the fuel tank is extremely rusty. I found a 97 and a 98 t4r at my local pull apart, and was wondering if I could use the gas tank from one of those on my 95.

Here's the fuel pump. The inside of the tank wall looks just as rusty as the metal bar here.

 

Not having a newer 4Runner are those tanks not on the left side??

With the exhaust being on the right

It most likely could be modified to work depends if the filler neck is in the center or off set to the left.

Though till you get done with all that much less time to buy new after market or the correct used one
