94 rack and pinion replacement

Hi guys Ive been absent for a while but I had a question. I have a 94 t100 and am going to be replacing the tie rods for the rack and pinion as I have a "shimmy" at around 50-55 mph anything else is fine except when I brake it pulls to the right. Anyway I was going through the fsm's and I cannot find the procedure for replacing them. I know it is easy and ive done it before but I would like to look it over before I do it. All I can find is the linkage type. A link to the pdf or a thread would be great.

I am going to replace the inners and outers then follow the alignment procedure I found here a few months ago using the string method.

Thanks for the assist.

never done a rack and pinion on a t100 but I did one on a vw i had and I just counted the number of turns to remove the tie-rod ends, then reinstalled them the same number of turns. kept the alignment muck-up down to a minimum.

but in my opinion, a vibration and pull aren't enough reason to change the R&P, unless you know one of the end-links are bad. a wobble at speed could also be a wheel out of balance. pulling with the brakes could be a brake problem, wheel bearing, suspension component.
