'91 4-runner Clutch Master Cylinder replacement

Hi, how hard are these to replace? Is it just the 2 bolts on the firewall and the line connection or is there something else under the dash that needs attention?
Thanks,
Gary

i think you have to go under the dash and disconnect the master cylinder push rod from the clutch pedal. and then the line and mounting nuts..

i think thats it, its been awhile lol.

should be pretty easy,
but
check to make certain your fluid is on its own master cylinder, cuz if its on your brakes, you may want to bleed them all afterward

1st rear right wheel
2cnd rear left(drivers)
3rd front right
4th front left (drivers side)
then clutch.

hope that helps.

Yes, I was just under the dash with a flashlight. Looks like 2 nuts 1 being a lockdown. I'll try to figure it out, and yes the clutch and brakes are a different system.
Thanks,
Gary

OK bought a new master cylinder. Says I've got to bench bleed it, well I don't have a vice here at home, so I'll have wait 'till Monday when I go back to work, starting to suck. Anyway to get around this?

Thanks,
Gary

what has the clutch and brake system all together? ive never seen or heard about that before.

you dont have to bench bleed it, it justs saves time when you try to bleed the clutch line. its two bolts, the line, and the pin on the clutch pedal under the dash.
