Ok so I have a 1989 4x4 pickup with a 22RE motor I just bought so history is unknown when I bought it guy sprayed gas down intake and truck was running fine (WHILE HE SPRAYED GAS) afterwards the truck died out…

SYMPTOMS - truck cranks and turns over but dies after 1-3 seconds and if I press the gas it dies even faster.

TESTS / parts IVE DONE
-new fuel pump
-new fuel filter
-jumping fp b+ ( I hear fuel pump activate and get gasoline out the cold start injector, motor does the same thing)
-pressing maf (I can hear fuel pump activate)

I am just stumped I saw another guy on here with my same scenario but he never followed up… I have a few parts coming in like cor and a new MAF although from what I have read putting in a jumper bypasses all of these parts … I am very reluctant for it being injectors because it would not run but choppy I’m not sure please help with any other parts I should look at but any other advice will be appreciated (I am new to 22RE / Toyotas in general) so please be very thorough when explaining things thank you
