so my a/c pump works sometimes. but not all of the time does anybody kno how i can fix this problem

i noticed that when it is warm/hot outside the pump will work

but when its cold it decideds to not work

anybody have any ideas?

 

It's low on gas. The low gas safety switch is kicking in.

 

x2. freon expands when warm, so it gets just hot enough to kick the low pressure switch closed. but when its cool out its just not enough to hit the switch. at any rate, it cant be working to well cause you are pretty low on freon for that to be happening.

ebay see cans on there all the time its not as hard to get as people think....

 

my dads friend has a big can of it, so it wont be that hard...loL...and my girls dad owns a car shop and he has some so i can get it...
