22re with 184,000 original miles
had timing chain done
test drove and felt great
needs some minor cosmetic tlc as well as brakes
and suspension (rear leafs are sagged)
has some aftermarket wheels / tires I would like to replace
and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on solid companies for replacement leafs, shocks, wheels/tires for these 1st gens.
i would Be using it as my daily driver and taking it on camping trips, doing some light off roading here and there nothing too crazy.
No lift or anything, would like to get it a nice solid suspension though.

Apologize if this has been posted a million times but I tried searching and couldn't find anything specific about 1st gen suspension / wheels that were equal to or better than stock.

I used air bags to level my pickup, Firestone I believe. I don't haul much anymore but when I did it was handy to be able to air them up a little to level the truck and let them back down when empty. Been on there for a least 10 years and they still work fine.
