Lightbulb 3.0 Transfer Case Rebuild/parts needed

I own a 88 4Runner w/ 3.0 and standard transmission. When I engage 4hi/4lo my transfer case pops out when I'm ready to drive away. Anyone experience this before? Can anyone refer me to reputable parts/gears that is used by Yotatech. I now have transmission out due to needing new clutch. I want to fix both problems since the whole unit is out and easier to do in one drop. Appreciate you stoppin by to assist. Im in Somerset, Texas.

Common problem with 5 speeds when shaft end play gets way out of specification and syncro assemblies get worn. In your case, I suspect an
endplay problem since you have no syncros in the tcase.

My $0.02

I've got a fine working T-Case from behind a '90 R150 tranny if you just want to start over.

Not sure best way to get it to Texas though.

so its an automatic or manual tranny? As for gears, rebuild kits, and all to do the clutch and any tranny, t/c job ever go to Marlin Cralwer. Best in the industry for toyota trannys IMO and many others cant go wrong
