3.0 #6 Cylinder cut out suddenly.

Hi YotaTech. My 3.0 4runner started running poorly out of the blue a week ago. It was sounding very loud (amplified by hole ridden exhaust) and threw a lean CEL code. After some basic diagnostics I figured out my #6 cylinder was doing absolutely nothing and it made no difference whether it was plugged in or not. The wire and spark plug are good (replaced plug, tested wire) and I can see a good spark when I ground out the plug. The cylinder has 160 psi in a compression check. Only thing I can think of is fuel injector. Dunno how to test it besides the ohmeter check which was good or listening to it with a stethoscope which revealed that it sounded exactly like the others with a consistent rapid click. Seems like the injector is still most likely offender, maybe severely clogged? But I'm not really sure and would like to know definitively before I go ripping into my engine and have to pay for gaskets and crap. Anyone got any ideas/advice for me? Know how to test if the injectors are spraying anything? Anything else that could be causing the problem? Thanks!

did you verify spark? move the spark plug to another cylinder or just replace it. Compression should be good enough to run. Pull the plug and send pics. Is it wet? is it eroded? color?

Hey, thanks for the reply. I could see a good spark from the original plug when i grounded it out, also checked with a timing light with the spark plug in the cylinder and it was consistently firing. I replaced the plug entirely and tried with some old but working (last time they were in use) plug wires and no difference, also tried a different distributor cap. I still have the old plug and can get some pics up soon. Only thing is I kinda screwed up getting a good diagnosis from the plug cause before I figured out that a cylinder specific misfire was causing the issue I took all my plugs out and cleaned them with carb cleaner and a wire brush lol. Since then I drove maybe 10 or 15 km so you can still get a bit of an idea. The plug looks a little burnt I think. The white insulator is sorta an off-white beige color with a little brown, nothing too out of the ordinary, but I'll get a comparison between it and the other (working cylinder plugs) going. I'll get pics up in a bit and see what you think.
