1st get rear lift

88 4runner rear lift.

I'm trying to wait on a deal for some Chevy springs to pop up but until then I have the no cut Zuk mod to fix my rear. I cut the springs a little longand ended up with about a 2" lift to level out with the lifted front. When I try to wheel it I have no drop from what I think is the shackels being maxed out. Question is would I gain more travel by adding longer shackels. I know this would normally lift the truck but since my springs are already flattened and the weight is supported by the zuk I think it might sit the same afterwards. I know this isn't the orthodox approach but I'm broke. Thanks.
