Hey guys really need your help right now im curious as to how the heck to remove the back portion of the interior in my truck and i cant quite get it, i have all the dash out and want to remove the back aswell, do u have to remove the back seats in order the get out the panels??? or do the panels just come out?? what the trick here guys. any help would be appreciated!! pictures would be an even better people

I know that the side plastic comes out pretty easy. You just have to remove the two seat belt upper loop bolts then theres a screw up top where the hook is that you would hang up a coat hanger. Theres also two screws on the plastic part that flips out when you open and close the pop out windows. After those are out you just pry the panel off because it has those clips behind it kinda like on the door panels.

What are you taking everything out for?

 

im taking everything out to rewire for the sub cause the previous owner had about 2-3 amps in this truck and its definatly a big mess of wire. and i think now with having most of the plastic out i may give it the spray bomb treatment! just gotta pick a color exterior is black so im think green interior!

 

what manual is the one that tells about the interior removal??

 

Not sure if theres a manual or not. I would just go out there and start pulling stuff off. Couldnt be too hard to figure out

 

I wouldn't recommend spray painting the interior plastic.
Regular spray paint just rubs off really easily.
If you can find some plastic specific spray paint, like a vinyl paint or whatever, then maybe.
I spray painted my center console, the rubbing from the seats and seat belt, and my arm on the console have taken a lot of paint off.
Try and find some vinyl paint or whatever, specifically for plastic/vinyl.

PS: Your truck will stink like spray paint for a couple weeks, especially if it's parked out in the sun and heat. (Just keep the windows cracked. It's over-powering the first couple days. haha.
