I bought the truck in almost mint condition. It sounded mean with flow master's and straight piped, had power. Now it has no power, sounds like a lawn mower. It has nicked and dimed me to death. Literally everything besides the block and head are brand new. I even gave it a tune up not long ago. Can someone on here tell me my problem please . Everyone I take it to says its fine. But ik its not. It used to be fun to drive. Now I feel like a laughing stock. I hate hearing it run anymore. Plus the idle will change as you drive. Might start at 1500 rpm then drop to 900 rpm . And everywhere in between. It sounded like a lawn mower before that though.

Well guys I got it running like its supposed to. Power is back. The tone is back. But its even quieter. The new throttle position sensor made that difference. How do I make it roar again with the tone I already have?

Good job, you took the time to diagnose and fix your problem. If you want your old tone back, you should put your old part back on. Sometimes fixing your problem means your engine will sound different.
