NEED FUEL INJECTOR HELP
1988 4runner with 3vze. I have read about a high and low impedance style injector are used for this year, but how do you find out which?
Here is the issue I am having, I pulled the fuel rail off to do a re-seal kit and I have found that I have what I think to be two different injectors installed. There are two that have DENSO part numbers 23250-65010 written on them and the other 4 have nothing. The two denso injectors and 1 replacement injector on the drivers side of engine that ohm at 2.4, 2.5, 2.4 and on the passenger side of engine that ohm at 14.1,13.9,14. So I am a little confused at this point if I need the higher or lower ohms reading style injectors.
To make it a little more confusing I called my local Toyota dealer to see if they could pull up the injectors needed from the vin number knowing they could not get them any more since being discontinued but maybe point me in the direction I needed to go. They gave me the part number 23209-65010 which is different from the two what seem to be factory installed DENSO injector that are installed. I searched online for my vin number and got the part number of 23209-65020 which is different from the dealer. So I have no idea the direction of what injector I need to put back in, any help would be appreciated.
