I have an '84 4x4 that I'm trying to hook up trailer lights too. I can't seem to figure out which color goes to which item (IE: WB goes to ground, GR goes to right blinker). My haynes manual isn't any help. If somebody could help me figure this out without having to cut (and therefore resplice) all the wires coming from the lights I would appreciate it.

you'll need to get a "tail lamp converter " any auto parts store will have one .

Toyotas use a 3 wire system .. and trailers use a 2 lamp system .. the converter makes it all work .
