What is this?

Help me out here. The motor is starting to buckle when idling and when I hit it with the brake cleaner, everything seems to "sober" up until the next time.

First, what is this and wondering if I should replace this/these before I sell the truck.

Thanks in advance

I'm looking up replacement parts and what I am seeing does not match the picture.

What else am I spraying at in the picture? Blue/Green connector?

As I said, when I "clean" this with the brake cleaner, the engine idle "sobers" up and idles normal.

Thank you guys!

there is a vacuum line coming from the intake thats attached to this valve to help control the Fuel Pressure Regulator. When you are spraying the brake kleen at the line, it is causing it to idle up because the brake kleen is being sucked in the intake and burning in the cyl, This usually indicates a leak. I believe I have an extra one of these, Not sure if it works or not. And there are 4 different 22re's at my local yard that still have these on them. I can ship it out to you if you want to cover the cost of shipping. Probably be like 6.10 with priority flat rate usps

Let me know.

I'll let you know, Mark thank you!

One last thing. The truck idles fine right now. I'm sure within a week or so i'll be doing the exact same thing. Could there be anything else that is causing this?
