upgraded seats

Upgraded my 31 year old and worn DLX seats in my 1985 4runner to some SR5 seats out of a 2000 4runner.

The seat mouting holes did not match the seat brackets in the front, but did in the rear. I ended up cutting the brackets off the front of each seat & swapping them, then welding them in place where they needed to be.

Seat is much more comfortable with the side bolsters and lumbar support now. Seat sides on track like it was new. Looking for covers now.

I did the exact same thing. 2000 runner seats into my 85 pickup. I had to do some cutting of the bracket and drill a new hole for one or two of the seat bracket holes. I was disappointed that I could not use the seat belt that is attached to the runner seat but still a great upgrade.
