Side by Side
I read an interesting forum about someone looking to do something similar to what I mentioned in my last post which had to do with convert standard crank windows in SR5 Etendacab from4 runner. I saw the pictures posted and heard the limits from the feedback.
So here is what I am wondering and would like to SEE a side view of both vehicles with the idea of swapping out the whole door. The oddest conflict besides the sheer fact that it will not fit PERIOD has to do with a hint that the 86 4 runner might be a more "LIKE" vehicle to my 85 SR5. But some people have seen the Lock Nest Monster so what do I know; I'm just asking.
If anyone can show me a side by side of a 85 SR6 Extracab nose to nose with an 85 and or 86 4 Runner it might help to see if anything is obvious.
As an mechanic knows the most similar looking parts from one model year does not fit another model year without major metal work.
Do we have a forum for " Our Favorite TOOLS ( besides our personal one
HA ) if there is such a forum please link me up if not maybe I will start one. I wonder who will say a 1/2 inch box wrench or maybe a 7 or 9/16ths which some might say "The all purpose CAR CRUSHER " LMAO
