Exclamation Possible Road bearings?? Need pro help

my truck wont build up oil pressure over the first quarter mark, the oil pump looks fine and im running 10w-30. Truck tends to want to bog out while coasting to try to stall. COULD IT BE THE ROD BEARINGS? It knocks at idle when cold only at start up and sometimes while driving, 2000rpm. when i shut it off and start it the oil sits lower then the first quarter mark, oil pump? or rod bearings

Update 7-18-09- Still havent figured it out, took out sending unit sprayed it with brake cleaner. Changed oil filter, running 10w-40. Lots of metal flake in Oil when i cleaned out the pickup and found pieces of my timing chain guide which i replaced 2 weeks ago.

From what your discribing with the metal flakes in the oil sounds serious and you may have some internal damage. It might be time to just pull the engine and go through it.
