Need some help

Hey guys I know I should keep the name Ford out of this site but I'm trying to help my brother and was wondering if you guys had some input my brother just ran some seafoam through his 1994 Ford Explorer a few days agao he ran it through the brake booster and now he says the brakes are extremely soft and will not stop him very well at all he has no lights and everything else is fine couod something have happened to the master cylinder?? I don't see how everything is hooked back up and tight i'm at a loss any input would be great

you should probably post this up in this off topic section instead of the 84-85 TOYOTA Trucks & 4Runners section.

Is it possible he didnt hook the booster back up correctly?

um - Seafoam is a petroleum distallate and an oil (MSD is posted on SeaFoam site)... if the Seafoam blew back from the hose into the brake boster... maybe it melted the booster diaphram?

(Im not that familiar with how a brake booster works - jsut a SWAG guess here)
