Manual to power steering

Just bought a '85 pick-up. No power steering and no a/c. I was wondering if anyone knows the best way to go about converting to power and installing some a/c

Welcome to yotatech.

Adding power steering isn`t to hard to do, you need a power steering pump, the hoses and the mounting brackets, and you also need the power steering gear box, after you get all the part that are needed, just bolt everything on and your done. If your new to toyotas one thing to remember is toyotas use ATF in the power steering pump, don`t use anything else. As for installing a/c, i know people here have done it so i will let someone else explain whats involved in adding a/c to a truck.

i just did a power steering conversion on my '82. i acquired a steering box, and already had the pump and brackets, hoses, reservoir, and 'cooler'. the metal tube on the return line that runs behind the grill.
i did have to source a front pulley to bolt on the front of my crank pulley for the pump belt.
the steering box i got was longer than the non power box i was replacing, i had to pull the steering shaft, drill out the pins, and shorten it to make it fit.
