hey i have a 84 hilux and i have noticed that the american doors have just one piece of glass in stead of two pieces like the ones in australia i was wonderin if the doors are the same and would they fit

 

U.S. doors feature both the one peice and the two piece setups. GENERALLY, power window options are found on the one-peice doors, but I have seen other combinations.

Either way, YES it should bolt right up.

BTW, not to be a stickler or anything but the "Tacoma" line did not start until the mid 90's. Until then... they are just "Toyota trucks".

Uh... well if you were hre in the U.S. I'd tell you to go visit a scrap yard. They're SO common and it doesn't matter if they come off of a 2WD or a 4WD. (I'm naturally assuming your in Australia still). I'm sure you guys have scrapyards there with old Toyota diesel trucks laying around, you could find a decent set.

But I do believe I have found reproduced doors on the internet. Sorry, don't recall what site it was. I would just search for "84-88 Toyota truck doors" and see what you dig up.

There's a good chance Amazon.com has them... they carry fenders and lenses also.

aussy cars have right-hand drive right? That may cause a small problem on certain doors (if you are using powerlocks).
