so ya my 22r is starting to knock and i dont' want to rebuild it cause i've been wanting to switch to efi anyway so i'm lookin at these two swaps... how easy are each.. does the 3rz swap require me to get a diff.. tranny/transfer case?? does the 3rz bolt straight in? is the 22re a lot easier?

if anyone could just kind of fill me in on some details and ideas that would be awesome!

Do a 5mge swap. This guy did it with your same truck!
Or if you have the money go with the 7mge. Info on that.

 

the 5mge has less power than the 3rz, the 3rz bell housing will bolt up to your g52, so no problem there, i think that the motor mounts even line up, or come close, a few people did this swap over on marlin's board, theres a lot of info there, good luck
