OK I will try and explain this the best I can with as Much info as I can:
2.4L Automatic Trans 2wd.
I havent driven it in about 3 weeks, I went outside this morning to leave and I put it into Drive and it was sorta sluggish....Drove about 300 yds to the Stop sign and it would not go forward when the gas was applied. I put it into reverse to back up to my house and it would not move in reverse either. Pushed it home. Checked ATF, fluid level looks good, no burnt smell and no grit in the oil. It is a little more toward the brown color than a good red. I let the truck cool off, went back out about 45 min later and put it into reverse it moved back, put it into drive and went forward. Put it in reverse immediately after and it would not budge. It does this same thing about every hour or so......will go into gear and move and then after two or three gear switches nothing. Here's another tidbit of info. If I Put the truck into any gear, I can still push it around, only Park will stop it from moving, Could this be the Torque converter?
Any help will be appreciated.
