Unhappy 1985 Pickup Heater/Vent control broke: Fix??

My 1985 pickup cannot select vents or "Cold" or "Hot" with the slider controls. The levers just flop around. I opened the dash to take a look, the pivit point is snapped off. Looks like the base is still there though
How do I fix this? New controls or tap and die the pivit point? Anyone been in my shoes on this?
Thanks, in advance.

It's cold every morning here too, so I just reached in and pulled the cables to "warm" and "defroster" Later on in the day when the sun start to warm things, I just open the wind wing (old school!) and vent the hot air out.
In the Spring I guess I'll open it all up again and pull the cables back to "cold" "vent".

I just replaced, it was relatively easy. The hardest part were the cables, but overall easy. Find one at the junk yard or the local toyota yard.
