1985 4x4 rear wheel cylinders, 3/4" or 7/8" bore?
I replaced both rear wheel cylinder over 10 years ago, needs new ones now. Looks like I have 3/4" bore on the truck at present, is that correct? Or are they suppose to be the 7/8'' bore type?

I don't know the sizes but I remember reading something about being able to use later model land cruiser wheel cylinders but don't know if anything else had to be changed to make that work. Hope that helps somehow.

There is a 3/4" & 7/8" cylinder bore that could be used. I wasn't sure if I mistakenly installed the wrong one years ago, but the 3/4" appears correct for the 4x4 1/2 ton. The standard 1 ton and 1/2 ton used the 7/8" bore, which in my mind makes no sense, I would think the larger bore would create a "better rear brake".....Right up there with "why are the bores measured in inches?"

That is strange kinda like how the six lug pattern wheels are the same as Chevy. They were copying American vehicles in the early days.
