weber trouble

I just put a weber 32/36 on my sister 22R Celica. THe things works perfectly but spits gas like a mother. The second hole on the fue intake doesn't have a plug in it (i got the carb used) what can I use or where can I find a plug for the carb?

Just a clarification, the problem I'm having is right where the fuel line goes into the carb, there's a kind of Y there and the opposite end of the Y from where the line goes in is where the gas is streaming out. Thanks for any help.

yep, sounds like you need the plug that goes in there. might call a shop that deals in webers(carbs unlimited, top end performance etc) and see if they'll sell you a new one.

I've posted this question on like 5 different forums now, and that's the most helpful answer I've gotten so far. I thought for sure someone would have done the same thing somwhere. Thanks, I'll look around tomorrow to see what I can find, thanks again, I know it's kind of a common sense answer, but hey thanks anyways, at least you had something constructive to say.

you may even be able to find a bolt with the right size and thread pitch that'll fit in there, just seal it with a little teflon tape. it'll definitely be metric.

Yaeh, I was hoping Kyle would chime in on this. I went out to the garage to check on my webber (just to see what you were talking about) and the 'off-side' on mine is cast closed.... no plug or anything, so i couldn't offer any help.

BTW kyle... did you notice the post about EPN Headbolts for our engines?
