Opinions on Defenders versus Wrangler tires?
Hi,
79 Longbed currently on 6 yr old Goodyear Wranglers - 235/75 R15 original wheels - Was looking at Michelin Defenders for an easier ride - don't plan on any mountaineering - Wranglers look good on this truck imho - Any opinions or alternatives?
Thanks,

Im not a huge fan of goodyears. If you get a good price, theyre fine but I dont think they last long as others.
ive never had Michelins but I hear they are top for om road driving. I usually throw ATs on my trucks, not street tires, but if youre only doing street you cant go wrong there.
I really like Coopers as well. My Ford had an old set of STTs when I bought it and Ive given them heck. Cooper is an underrated brand in general with a nice variety of options.
My toyotas have bfg ko2s and falken wildpeaks but like I said I do ATs and theres more affordable options if youre not offroading.
wait for a sale or rebate if you can.
