New Toy

Hello everyone! I just joined the forum since I just got this truck. I've been working on vehicles my entire life but always Jeeps, Chevys, and Fords. This one set me back a whopping $0 (I was storing it for a friend and he gave it to me for selling his boat). It's a 1982 Toyota Pickup SR5. Runs fine so I'm not too worried about power train but needs some cosmetic work for sure. As you can see in the pictures, there's a bungee cord holding the driver's side door closed. Trying to find parts for these is already proving difficult so where do y'all find parts for these things? Appreciate any help y'all can give.

Try Rockauto, yodajims.com, yotashop.com, toyotafiberglass.com, of course you can find parts on ebay, Try a google search too. Check the frame for rust. Toyota truck fame like to rust.

Appreciate the feedback everyone. I'll have to look into the Facebook groups. When I've worked on old Jeeps, the parts were pretty easy to come by, but you'd think this thing is made of unicorn horns.
