83 4x4 Toyota Truck Starting Problem

Hello everyone,

There has been a problem with starting my truck earlier this week. I've been searching through Yahoo and Google for the past couple of days for possible remedies, but none had any solutions for my problem.

Whenever I try to start the truck for the past week, absolutely nothing happens. The truck has had previous problems starting, but the engine does turn before. Now, the engine doesn't turn at all and there is no click sound. The power seems to be going through because the headlights still work, but the dashboard isn't lighting up anything. The turn-signal, cigarette light, and radio aren't working but the fuses for those are still good and in working condition. I've checked the battery and it is fully charged.

If the problem is the Coil or the Starter would they still bring power to the dashboard? I could not find any fusible links either. I don't know where to find it or where to start fixing this problem.

Please help.

fusable liks are right at the battery . They are the "single" and then "double" wires right off of the positive battery connector .... they have the green ends .

Thank you. This turned out to be the problem and I had it fixed up right away. It starts just fine now.
