I have a 1980 toyota pickup with a 20R. I was driving to work thursday and everything shut down. The alternator had a short put a new one in and had had the battery tested it was good. wouldnt start after recharging. ran some test and figured out the ignitor module went out. I couldnt find another one so I endedup putting in a gm one. I finally got it started and I went to test drive it and it started cutting out on me. when I start it it will run but every about 3 seconds it cuts out and almost dies then reves back to idle. if I hold it above 2000 prm it seems to run fine but I havent driven it yet. what should I start with next I would rather not replace everything untill it works because im broke but if I have to what should I replace first? thanks
