Hi gang, could anyone give me simple directions on how to remove both front round headlamps. Both brights are out on them.. Do they pull out from the back or engine location? To they pull out the front with grille removal? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Russ

I removed my grill and headlight housings to take the headlights out of my '81, but I'm also doing a complete rebuild on my truck.

 

remove the headlight bezel (apron, door depending on what you want to call it) -4 screws on that,
than you should see a round ring around the head light with three screws, remove those, remove headlight lense, unplug, reverse the procedure to reinstall
no need to remove the grill
