I am selling a pair of teal c59-276 Dobinsons coils that I purchased for my 2001 4Runner as part of a full IMS kit a few months ago (directly from Dobinsons). The coils have maybe 10 miles on them since they were only on the truck while I was installing the suspension (a few weeks ago) and making other suspension changes. They have a few scuffs on them from using a coil spring compressor. I also touched up a few chips in the powder coat with paint I sourced from Dobinsons. I went with a taller coil instead. The coils are $245 + shipping from DobinsonsDirect. I am selling the pair for $150 + actual ground shipping.
How much lift do these springs provide? Their website doesn't state how much lift is achieved. How was the ride quality?
I installed the coils along with the IMS struts, which of course are adjustable. So I can't comment on how much lift they may provide with standard (non-adjustable) front shocks.
The three different Dobinsons front coils for the 3rd gen 4Runner all have the same spring rate (c59-276, c59-134, c59-238). They only differ in length.
The truck is far more stable & controlled than with my old '99 coil setup. Firmer, but not harsh.
