I bought this truck from a Toyota dealer in May of 2012. I was told by them it had been owned by one of their mechanics who had traded it in, and although they normally would send a vehicle of this age directly to auction it was in such good shape they decided to offer it for sale first.

I purchased it with the intention of keeping it for a longtime, and as such have done a tremendous amount of upgrades and preventative maintenance. The truck really needed nothing when I acquired it, and the only "non working" items that I have had to repair were the transmission solenoids and the AC system. All other work done was just as part of general maintenance to keep going strong for years to come.

I really don't want to sell it, but as we all know plans change. I have recently acquired anothervehicle and don't have the room, so as they say my loss is your gain.

All of the maintenance records for the below mentioned items will be included. I also have an original owners manual, Haynes maintenance manual and original 1990 sales brochure that will be included. Also has one original factory key and two new replacement keys.

Mechanical:

3.0 V6 (I removed the V6 emblem on the grill but it is included with the sale)

Automatic Transmission

Runs and drives strong

Maintenance completed in last year and half:

6/6/2012 144,641Miles The Wrench Connection - Orlando,FL

6/23/12 148,015miles Autonation Toyota -WinterPark, FL

- New cap, rotor, plugs and wires (I purchased these and had them installed)

- New injectors (I purchased these and had them installed)

- Changed Fan, Pump and Compressor belts

- Replaced fuel filter

- Replaced throttle body gasket and hose

7/2/13 ~149,000miles

- Installed (3) new transmission solenoids

10/15/12 ~152,000miles

-Installed new TPS sensor

(installed with 4crawler TPS screws for easy adjustment)

12/1/12 ~154,000miles Ice Cold Auto Air& Muffler - Orlando, FL

- New rear axle bearings and seals

- New Rear wheel brake shoes

- New rear wheel cylinders

4/1/13 ~157,000miles Vimar Auto Repair-Winter Park, FL

- Installed new spare tire carrier/winch

(these are notorious for freezing up over time. I am pretty sure the old one was original. I sourced a replacement unit online and had it installed so you can actually access the spare now if needed)

8/16/13 160,000miles Ice Cold AutoAir & Muffler - Orlando, FL

- New AC Compressor

- New AC Drier

- A/C Flush

10/1/13 161,000miles

- New exhaust header pipe

- New 02 sensor

The only mechanical issue I can think to note is that the windshield wipers sometimes don't "park" in the right position. I think the wiper transmission is worn (motor seems fine). The wipers work fine so it was not something I had addressed yet. These can be still be sourced new or fairly easy to find used.

Oil changes have been done by me since acquired using Valvoline Maxlife.

Tires are in good shape with plenty of wear left

Exterior:

As you can see from the pictures the exterior is in nice shape, but is by no means perfect. Thereis crinkle in the passenger side rear quarter panel (pictured). That is really the only major issue, but there is another small dent under the passenger side rear window (hard to see)and typical paint chips and scratches you would find on a truck this old. I should also point out that the clips forthe grill are mostly broken (very common)...it is currently attached by tiewraps but they are well hidden and secure it fine (was like this when I boughtit and never had an issue). Finally there is a small rock chip in the windshield on the drivers side. It was there when I bought the truck andnever got any worse so I didn't do anything about it. Here are some things I have done during my ownership:

-Purchased and installed refurbished factory wheels and caps

-Added original 1985 badges to the B pillar (my homage to "Back to the Future")

- Installed all new molding

- Installed new rear sliding window with new rear window gasket

Interior:

Gray cloth with split bench

SR5 gauge package

Cruise control

Power windows

Power door locks

Air conditioning (recently repaired to new - see mechanicaldetails)

New gear selector bushings installed 6/2012

Brand new audio system installed 6/2012 including:

-Alpine CD receiver (CDE-123) with front and rear aux andusb inputs; Pandora radio controls

- Polk audio 4" speakers front (factory replacements)

- Polk audio 6x9 speakers rear

-Alpine 4-channel 45w mini amp (KTP-445) (hidden behindcenter stack)

There are a couple of small issues inside, probably thebiggest being the typical tear in the drivers seat. Also the power mirrors don't work. I am not sure if the mirrors themselves werechanged at some point or if they are just not connected. I never change their position so neverbothered fixing it. As far as I can tellit was never smoked in. It looks and smells clean inside.

I recently have been looking at getting a small pop-upcamper and was equipping the truck to tow it. However, I have not picked one up and have recently acquired a biggertow vehicle. So the parts listed below are all new and have not been used since mounted. I have not towed anything with the trucksince I have owned it.

- New Curt class III receiver hitch

- New 4 pin trailer wiring

- New B&M transmission cooler (not yet installed - still new in the box with new transmission hose for install. Will include this with the truck)

- 1990 sales brochure (basically in new condition)

I am sure I am forgetting some stuff, but that is a pretty thorough description.

As you can see this is a very honest truck with tons ofrecords and recent maintenance. If you are looking for one of these trucks you would be hard pressed to find one more complete.

I can provide the current Carfax and Toyota Owners service report via email. Just shoot me a message with your email address and I can send it to you.

If you have any questions please ask.

***NOTE***

I have done my best to accurately describe and represent this truck. However, this vehicle sale is "as-is" with no warranty given or implied. I willmake the truck available for inspection in Orlando, but it will have to work with my schedule. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping arrangements and costs.
