I've bought a big lumbering QX56 and don't really need my 3rd gen T4R anymore. Been the best, most dependable vehicle I have owned with no issues over the 100k I have owned it and I hate to sell it. I'd consider trading for a 1st Gen 5 speed 4-Runner or a 1st gen Supra (pre '86). If trade isn't running and you add cash that is fine too. Asking $3,500 obo.
Recently did a timing belt & water pump (OEM parts) plus all belts, valve cover gaskets and cam seals. It will need tires, and front brakes pretty soon. Has 2" receiver hitch with trailer brakes and controller wired up. No real mods except I added a bright fog light wired to my reverse (PIAA).
Has some "custom sheet metal" due to being rear ended about 5 years ago. I replaced the rear bumper with used OEM and have kept driving it. No issues except cosmetic. Doors and tailgate close easily.
JVC CD player with Bluetooth, USB, AUX etc. Everything works except for the sunroof, rear defroster and fresh air / recirculate control (cable end broke). All original factory suspension, tie rods etc. Could use some shocks as they are only effective when completely empty. Add 3 adults in the back and it starts to handle like a clown car
Unfortunately where I live is flat as a pancake with no place to go offroading so it doesn't make sense for me to keep it and add a lift etc, things I had hoped to do with it when I finally stopped using it for my daily driver. I'm an engineer and it was my daily driver until the last few weeks when I got the QX56.
