1993 Pickup 4x4 5Spd 5VZ Swap

Hey all,
Location is Charleston, SC
Asking 7,000 OBO

Selling my 1993 w/5VZ Swap from 2001 4Runner.
Swap was done with all ORS parts, Tom Woods single piece driveshaft, and A/C and other components from the donor vehicle.
Current Issues are paint splatter on the front of the truck, and one small area of rust on each front quarter panel. The valve cover gaskets leak a bit of oil which drips onto the exhaust header and is noticeable as a slight smell after sitting for a week or two upon start up.
255,000k on the Body, 19K on the Swap. The engine had around 120,000 miles when installed. At that time I changed waterpump, thermostat, seals, plugs, etc. Any questions please ask!

Hi,

Nice looking truck! I have a few questions...

Was the timing belt service done under your ownership?

You say the truck is a ‘93 but yet it has the 3rd brake light from the ‘94 model year. Can you shed some light on this?

Was this truck originally an automatic?

Do you have a physical title for the truck in it’s current form?

It says in your ad that all of the AC components were transferred over from the donor car. Does the AC currently work?

In your opinion is there any reason your truck would not make a 1000+ mile road trip to its new home?

Thanks!

AudiKev,
Yes it is a 1994. Had to doublecheck the title! (There is a clean title.) I performed the pre-install maintenance myself, including timing belt, tensioner, waterpump, etc and all else listed.

Yes, it should be ready for anything. I just had the front end aligned last week. They ended up changing pittman arm, idler arm, and both tie rod ends and sleeves as well. The steering feels very tight and solid.
The r150f manual transmission is original to the truck.
The AC does currently work. The system is setup with r134a, but due to the condensor being sized for the trucks original R12 compressor, it certainly doesn't blow as freezing cold as in the 4Runner - but I live in Charleston, SC and it has always been sufficiently cool. To help out a bit at stoplights I installed the electric condenser fan which comes on when the compressor clutch engages.
