Anyone have any experience with the Lincoln mig 180? I’m looking to purchase a welder for chassis work and am wondering if this one will do the trick. Thanks.

 

I don't have experience with that one in particular, but I've been heavily using a Lincoln PowerMIG for the last 10 years (fleet maintenance and fabrication). Never an issue (however it's a $3500 welder). That 180 looks pretty nice, if I were buying one for myself I'd probably consider that one based on the price. Occasionally I run into situations where I need a little more than 180, but I think for personal use it would get the job done. I'm definitely a believer in Lincoln welders.
