Well, for better or worse, youtube is where its at.

Here is another one from a trip in 2003, most of it is wheeling but there is some playing around at the sand dunes in CO. The 4x4 is in Arches national park on one of their trails.

The shorter length version is here:

No lockers, yet. Cheapo 35x12.50 tires on 15x10" 6.25" backspaced rims at this time, ATs in the front, MTs in the back. No muffler, just a cat behind 3vze with ? headers (don't know if they be stock, probably). I like the sound, esp. the more banged up the cat gets. It's been getting louder/more power the more leaky it gets (holes/cracks). Keep having to adjust my idle down as the flow increases, not much left to turn any further. 3" body lift. 2" rear springs & torsion bar lift. She's a work in progress, eternally. Next is definetely tires, then either weld or selectable locker for the rear. Probably leave the front open to see if I can get away with not locking it too. I'm trying to climb a certain hill, I've seen it done fairly well with such a setup (the vids above). Oh yeah, I've got my idler arm braced, some Rancho 5000s on the back, after-market gas-charged shocks in the front, polyurethane bushings everywhere except control arms, low profile bumpstops all around, removed the sway bar, um what else....that's it I geuss the rest is stock. Wait I got two tow hooks in the front, I couldn't stand the asymmetry so I made the guy at the junkyard sell me one.

sweet, thanks. Is it legal where you live to drive without a muffler, or is your truck just for play and not street? and its a 22re or what?

It's legal at the moment, I live just outside of the no-fly zone on that one, for now. They keep trying to widen the boundary to include my neighborhood, but till then I'll be alot more likely to be fined for excessive noise levels. The cops in my town love gettin' ya with that ticket, there's little else goin' on here's the thing. 3vze, sorry. And I think it drives better on-road, that's a relative statement though. I just wish it was more like a rock crawler sometimes.

It's a little drier now! There are some gravel/light rock trails too. The main creek is still mostly covered by back water right now.

I have another one that I have not received from a friend yet. Its very wild. The 4Runner actually gets some air climbing up a ledge, and then appears that its going to roll. Very wild. I'm hoping to get it this Friday.

SteveO, I know someone who might have a bootlegged copy that I could probably get to you. Let me know when you are passing through on Friday and I can get it to you.

These guys will love it
