i do sometimes.....but i'm straying away from pc gaming since my computer goes out of date every 3 months and toward xbox live games...with the talking instead of chatting you can get more into a game and its alot harder to cheat....

I play almost every weekend if I get the chance.
I also play UT2004, and now Starwars Battlefront.

Even though the graphics are better in UT2004, I still think UT is a funner game to play.

My screen name is King Asus

UT 2004 has been popular here in the doorms at Oregon Institue of Technology. It looks really fun but my laptop won't run that game worth carp. I'm not even going to try. It could barely run 2003.

Just got done playing UT2004 a bit ago, and then member Drew & I were playing Starwars BattleFront.

That game rocks, I had 16 bots per team, and we had no lag with both of us on cable.

Played regular UT the other day.

Glad I have Thanksgiving off this year, going to be gaming that day quite a bit.

Kctopher, Robinhood150, and myself played a game last night of regular UT.
Map shot

It was a lot of fun, and Chris was really racking up the points and getting fat.
I run 3 things to enhance the game.
1. fatboy = the one who is getting the most points gets HUGE, and players who have few or little points look like a twig.
2. low gravity = when you jump, you really jump high.
3. Instagibber = a one shot kills weapon which is an enhanced version of the shock rifle.
Giblets of body parts fly all around too, as the person who gets hit literally disintegrates.

In the future, I may be looking into one of those rent it servers you can rent and admin.
They are a lot btter choice to host a game on with many players.
If we do that in the future, a lot more can join in a game when we play.

Corey, I'll try to download all the latest UT patches and such so I can host a server. What patches are you currently running?

Data, here is the page.
http://www.unrealtournament.com/utgo...chesAndUpdates

Latest patch is 436, and all four of the bonus packs with the extra maps.

Also I have a custom map I dl'd last year that is really good.
I do not know the link anymore, so it is on my site.
It is zipped up to around 1 MB.
Very good capture the flag map.
I think Steve and Chris liked this map too.

Ah ok great. I'll try to get the server up and running by Wed if possible. I might need you to help test it if thats ok. We should be able to play a HUGE game. I have plenty of bandwidth. What are the specs of your server? How much bandwidth do you have to play with?

Here is my PC
http://www.pnw4runners.com/tando/pc.htm

2.4 currently OC'd to 2.88.

I have been hosting games on my Comcast 3000 mb down connection & 256 kb upload, but we get some lag with 3 of us and 7 bots.
Just a standard Comcast account.

Cool. I believe I can get a server setup for us to play on. It will have at least 786mb ram and it will probalby be a 900mhz PIII. Here is the killer part, I should be able to get us enough bandwidth to host ummm....alot of folks. I'm pretty sure I can do the 15mbps up and 15mbps down Maybe we'll have to get a huge game going this weekend if all goes well.
