What Sub to get?????

Right now I have a Pioneer Premier DEH 5600 or something HU and a JBL GTO.600 amp with a blown Audiobahn AW1206T. I really dont know much about this kind of stuff. I dont know why the audibahn blew. What is a good sub for clean strong bass? I actually rather feel it then hear it also I only want to run one 12" sub not anything bigger or 2 of them and I cant afford a $300 sub.

There is so much avaible to you but whats your price. In a sealed enclosure on of the best subs on Earth are the Eclipse Aluminums. But set it up to vented you can go with a Diamond Audio Hex, or the Rockford t1s, or if possible and they should be cheap some Rockford HX2s, and the 2500 series of Digital Designs. Thoes are awsome subs, but they crave power. Shop around and you can find thoes subs in your price range. The price cap you set could probably only buy you one of them though. but one of thoes will sound better and msot anything on the market including the w7s and thoes MTX sledgehammers, and definatly better than kickers.

I have a JL Audio 13 W6 in a sealed box. A jl 500/1 runs it and does it hit. I bit pricey, but you should have not problems with any JL product

Why do you say that the aluminums are the best sounding? My Titanium sounds great and I cant see the aluminum ones doing better.

I would check out ebay, and keyword search for JL, DD (digital designs), Image Dynamics, Eclipse, Memphis Mojo and companies like that.

Just make sure that you can power what you buy. A mid-level sub with recommended power will sound better than a top of the line sub underpowered.

You might be able to get a good deal on a model that is a couple years old, be careful if you are going to buy something that is used - since some poeple abuse their equip.

I have heard the Comp VR's and they sounded good.

In fact, if you are looking for something inexpensive that sounds good when run properly - take a look at infinitys. I know a guy that had 2 kappa 12's and the old MTX 81000 D and it absolutely pounded.
(they can be bought for fairly cheap at circuit city, or check out ebay if you are willing to wait to have them shipped)
