what are the dimensions of the biggest amp that can fit under the driver's seat? a 6-channel? i cant find any good spot for it in my 98. i dont want to put it behind the rear seat cuz if i want to fold the seats down to carry stuff, the amps will get in the way.

I have a JL 300.4 un der my seat. there is no way you can put a 6 channel under the seat, unless you don't mind it sticking out into the back. If you don't want any visable amps, sell the 6 channel. Get a 4 channel and put it under the drivers seat. Get a mono amp/2 channel and modify the rear cargo area. It is more work, but it is discrete and doesn't take up precious usable space.

yea my mcintosh mc440 was under the drivers seat for a while. It stuck out a good 6 inches.

If you got the money thoes new digial amps, will do the job. Thier small, but put out massive power

I managed to squeeze an MTX Thunder 564 (roughly ~ 9.75 x 14 x 2) under my driver's seat, but there is surely isn't enough room to mount something slightly larger under there, as I still rely upon my husky liners to hide the one edge of the amp from view.

I agree with FilthyRich in that a set of a 4 channel and a 2 channel would make a much stealthier install.

I have a 5 chan under the seat in my 2nd gen. 1200 watts. Very tight fit.

Are your seats moved up in the picture? That doesn't look like it fits very well.

Yea, the seats are all the way up. When the seats are back about 2.5" of the amp sticks out and the cap is totally coverd. I don't have passangers that often but I do haul stuff in the back a lot so this works for me.

it's my old i90 holder... I Finally dumped suckstel yesterday, the i830 i had would never hold more than 3 bars.
