FYI- Alpine is currently seling head units which can be used to control your Ipod! Certain Alpine models are compatible, and then you have to get a control box interface thingy which is mounted out of sight.

My Alpine is about 1 1/2 years old. I need to see if mine will work. I highly doubt it though.

It works on Alpine models 9825 & higher. Check out www.crutchfield.com, they're selling the iPod adapter from Alpine.
